I had a different post planned for today, but scrapped it once I tasted these margaritas! Last Friday night some friends had us over for dinner and drinks. Stephen stuck to a beer and I reluctantly agreed to their “famous” margaritas. I’ve heard about them for years, but I’m not a margarita person. Tequila and I had a rough couple of nights in college (oopsie) and the salt rim makes a savory drink when I prefer tart and sweet cocktails. And yet, I’m sure you can tell where this is all going!
These were the BEST margaritas. Famous for a reason, I happily slurped down two of them. When you see how much alcohol there is in each one, you’ll be happy to know Stephen drove us home after his one beer. This recipe will definitely make its way into our Summer Cocktail Repertoire along with The Georgia Peach and my Easy Lemon Drops.
