I’m Rebecca, former west coaster, current southerner, and rom-com author. I write comfort reads about go-getting gals who (no matter how surprising and inconvenient!) have to slow down and follow their tugging hearts.

I may know a little something about that.

I’m one of those former go-getters. I left a corporate management job on the west coast and moved to the small-town south after meeting my now husband.

It was no surprise, I’ve always loved love.

Books about love. Movies about love. Music about love. Art about love. All of it. Because love connects us. Romantically, yes. But it also connects us to ourselves, our communities, and ultimately to the unique way each of us is meant to move through the world.

And now I get to write about love.
(Yes, I tear up any time I get to say that.)

If there is anything I love more than love, it’s a rom-com that includes a charming little town full of quirky characters and cozy shops. Nothing can soothe the ache of a rough day better than curling up around a favorite book and diving into pastry laden pages full of white twinkle lights, witty banter, and the spark that can only come from something unexpected.

Whether it’s for a few moments or a few hours, I hope you find a respite amongst us slow-getters and leave feeling a little more rested, a little more inspired, and a lot more loved. xo
